Roj means day.
In Kurdish, roj is the sun — and the day it brings. It is the center of the Kurdish flag: a golden sun with twenty-one rays, the number of March 21st, Newroz — the new day. Roj Bear carries that idea into enterprise software: every implementation is a chance for a new day.
The bear carries the sun.
The name is literal: Bear is the founder’s name, and the sun is where he is from. Twenty-one rays, as on the flag. A Nordic company with a Kurdish heart — precision from one home, warmth from the other.
Founder
Bear Kerrn-Rizgar
Bear holds an MBA — thesis on Denmark–Kurdistan trade relations — and has led enterprise AI agent delivery for Nordic clients as a project manager in IT consulting. Roj Bear is where that experience becomes product: agents that do the implementation work he has watched consume years and budgets.
He is also the builder of KurdishTTS, the production voice platform for the Sorani and Kurmanji dialects — text-to-speech, speech-to-text and voice agents for a language of forty million people that big tech left behind.
